wordless wednesday: our island

{our apartment building is on the left - the tall/red one.  All the buildings right of that are across the river on the Upper East Side.  This is a new soccer field that took a year to do & was finished last fall.  We went out and played before leaving for FL.  It is probably the first time I haven't seen it in use on a beautiful day...which finally gave us the time to try it out.  And it really is an incredible field!}
