Sand Babe

One word on why today's diaper was so interesting from yesterday's adventures.

SAND.  

But, wow did this little girl love, LOVED it!  I put her down to sit  in a natural made Bumbo seat on the beach, thinking she would get upset with the feel...but she reached her little hand over & let her fingers scoop up some sand...

 ...and then those fingers popped right into her mouth!  Because that's where her hands are spending most of the time with this cutie who had a tooth pop through last week!  Actually as Bryson/Dad pointed out - this girl was born sucking on her fingers and they have hardly left her mouth since!

Crazy enough - after she tried that sand, she went back for more!  I tried to wipe her mouth & hands clean with a wipe, and she would just dip them right back into the sand.  I finally had to take her to wash off in the ocean....which she wasn't really thrilled with - cold & salty!

 This gal is really one cute beach babe!
